House of the Dragon ซีรีส์ภาค Spin-Off ของ Game of Thrones ซึ่งจะเขียนบทโดย Ryan Condal ร่วมกับ George R.R. Martin (ผู้เขียนนิยาย) และได้ Miguel Sapochnik ผู้ที่เคยกำกับ Game of Thrones จนโด่งดังมาแล้ว กลับมากำกับและเป็นโชว์รันเนอร์ร่วมกับ Ryan Condal ให้กับซีรีส์ชุดนี้
House of the Dragon เป็นการนำนิยายชุด Fire & Blood มาดัดแปลงและตีความใหม่ โดยเล่าย้อนหลังกลับไปประมาณ 300 ปีก่อนหน้าศึก Game of Thrones เรื่องราวจะโฟกัสไปยังจุดเริ่มต้นและจุดจบของตระกูล Targaryen
